 Scorekeeping App - Monday Teams (Fall Session)
Starting Monday, July 28th, NOLA APA will begin the transition to digital scorekeeping for divisions 111, 211, 212, and 411. As we move forward, we ask that all teams record scores both digitally and on paper for the first few weeks as a precaution.
Please note the following important details:
Digital scorekeeping is currently available for 8-Ball and 9-Ball team formats only.
? Masters, Doubles, and Singles divisions must continue using paper scoresheets.
? Digital scorekeeping is not available for tournament play or Local Qualifier Boards. Paper scorekeeping will still be required in those cases.

New Playoff structure effective for Summer 2025 session
 
Per the APA National Office, "All leagues will adopt a standardized playoff structure. This initiative aims to provide a consistent experience for all players participating across all affiliated APA League areas".
 
4-5 team division      1st vs. Wildcard      Winner advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)
 
6-7 team division      High point winner    Advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)  
                                 2nd vs. Wildcard     Winner advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)
 
8-11 team division     High point winner   Advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)
                                  2nd vs. Wildcard    Winner advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)
                                  3rd vs. 4th              Winner advance to Tri-Annual (City Cup)

Join the APA!

While some membership cards require you to be able to jump the cue ball, bank it off three rails and sink the 8-Ball blindfolded, getting an APA Membership Card is much easier.

Having fun, meeting new people and playing pool is what the APA is all about.. You don't have to be a pool shark, because in the APA -- everyone can play and anyone can win. The APA wants beginners and novices, because it is the AMATEUR Poolplayers Association. No other organization in pool gives ordinary players a chance to win a share of nearly $1.5 MILLION guaranteed cash and prizes paid out through its national tournaments. 

How does the APA do it? It uses The Equalizer® handicap system to determine the amount of games a player has to win in order to capture the match. It allows a novice to win less games than a more-skilled opponent to win a match.
