About NOLA APA:
NOLA APA has been active in the New Orleans area for over 30 years. We are the 10th largest APA franchise in the country with nearly 3,000 active members comprising over 470 teams that compete weekly across seven different parishes.
NOLA APA provides players the opportunity to compete for cash and prizes as well as trips to Las Vegas to participate in the largest conglomeration of pool players in the world: the APA World Pool Championships.
Organized team play is offered in 8-ball, 9-ball, 8-ball ladies, 8-ball scotch doubles, Double Jeopardy and Triple Masters formats. We also provide opportunities for individuals to "make it to Vegas" through an active singles program as well as through preregistered scotch doubles events in 8-ball, 9-ball and Jack and Jill (male-female 8-ball).
Formats Offered/Nights of Play
When you join the APA, you have the opportunity to play on more than just one team! You are eligible to play on just about as many teams as you like, on almost any night in almost any format. The only restriction is that a player cannot appear on two rosters within the same division.
The following list details the formats offered along with nights of play and the area in which that particular format is offered. We can always add formats or nights, just ask.
